  • Politics

The 16th Presidential election of India was one of the most read topics during the month of July. Droupadi Murmu became the 15th President of India, and the first person from the tribal community to helm the highest constitutional post. This news saw a 520% surge in readership as online readers closely watched the electoral race and swearing-in ceremony. Moreover, the appointment of Eknath Shinde as Chief Minister of Maharashtra following the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray piqued reader’s interest. The articles related of Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray saw a readership surge of 575% (16 MN pageviews) and 1,043% (15 MN pageviews) respectively. 

  • Entertainment

The social media post by Lalit Modi with Sushmita Sen caused a frenzy amongst the Indian readers.
