Kolkata, 18 November 2022: Techno India Group, the largest private education group in Eastern India, hosted an enlightening session on ‘Investing In People: Thoughts of Tagore & Bangabandhu On Education’ by Chief Guest, Dr. Atiur Rahman, Honorary Professor-Department of Development Studies, the University of Dhaka for the students. The main aim of the session was to create a mindset of the students for sustaining the importance of Education, culture, and art as has been conceived by these great minds.

Guest of Honour, HE Mr. Andalib Elias, Hon’ble Deputy High Commissioner for Bangladesh in Kolkata, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury  Co-Chairperson-Techno India Group, Mr. Meghdut RoyChowdhury Executive Director & Chief Innovation Officer Techno India Group, Dr. Goutam Sengupta, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor-Techno India University, West Bengal also participated in the session.

As Education is the most prosperous heritage of mankind, the process of learning has remarkably changed over the years but its importance has sneaked invariably into our life and system. Both Kabuguru Rabindranath Tagore & Sheikh Mujibur Rahman fondly called Bangobondhu emphasized that education will bring a change in the socioeconomic development of society.

“Education and life are an integral part of each other. They can hardly be separated. Education becomes fruitful if based on human aspirations of good living and necessary actions. Technology, if embedded in educational pursuits, becomes a desired input for a more useful tool for human development. The educational thoughts of both Tagore and Bangabandhu are focused on this fundamental principle of human development”, said Dr. Atiur Rahman, Honorary Professor Department Of Development Studies, University of Dhaka Bangladesh.

We always inculcate the socio-economic development in a society as its purpose remains to maintain the social and material well-being of the nation and its people with the aim of achieving the highest possible level of human development.
