Mumbai | July 3, 2026: AssetPlus today announced the launch of Har Ghar MFD, a nationwide initiative to make mutual fund distribution a more accessible professional opportunity and create a free knowledge destination for aspiring and existing Mutual Fund Distributors. The initiative was launched in the presence of Navneet Munot, Managing Director & CEO, HDFC AMC; Nilesh Shah, Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra AMC; Radhika Gupta, Managing Director & CEO, Edelweiss Mutual Fund; and Sunil Subramaniam, Former Managing Director & CEO, Sundaram Mutual Fund, alongside AssetPlus founders Vishranth Suresh and Awanish Raj. India’s mutual fund industry is entering a defining phase. Industry assets have crossed ₹81 lakh crore, monthly SIP inflows are at around ₹31,000 crore, and investor participation continues to expand across the country. Yet the distribution base remains relatively small, with only around 1.8 lakh Mutual Fund Distributors serving a fast-growing investor base. As mutual funds move deeper into Indian households, expanding the pool of informed and capable distributors has become an important industry priority. Har Ghar MFD is built on a simple belief: An MFD for every home. A strong future for every Indian family. Speaking about the launch, Vishranth Suresh, CEO & Co-founder, AssetPlus, said, “India’s mutual fund growth story cannot be built only on more products, more platforms, or more transactions. It also needs more trusted people who can guide families with clarity and discipline. Har Ghar MFD is our commitment to making mutual fund distribution a more visible, credible, and meaningful entrepreneurial opportunity across India. The goal is not just to launch an initiative, but to help build the distribution base that will support the industry’s next phase of growth.” The Har Ghar MFD website brings together original video-led learning series, editorial explainers, market and regulatory updates, Har Ghar FinSight insights from AssetPlus’ research team, practical tools, calculators, and AI-powered content discovery, creating a single free-access destination for MFD-related learning and knowledge. Speaking about Har Ghar MFD, Awanish Raj, Co-founder & CTO, AssetPlus, said, “The challenge is not the absence of information. It is that useful information is often scattered, difficult to find, and not organized around what an MFD may need at a specific point in time. With Har Ghar MFD, we are using technology to make relevant knowledge easier to discover and act on. The platform is built as a living knowledge layer for the profession, not a static content library.” With more than…
