Their mandates cover advanced wound care, rehabilitation and therapy, life sciences, ventures and partnerships, preventive and digital health, finance and capital, and the Group management system.

Commenting on the appointments, Ravindran Govindan, Executive Chairman and Managing Director, said: “We have spent the past year building machines and winning projects. The next stage needs people who have built and sold products like ours, who can stand behind them clinically and scientifically, and who can run the Group with the discipline our shareholders expect. Each of these eight has done that work before in their own field. Each now owns one part of what comes next, and I will report their progress to you with our results.”

FMV has also appointed three Senior Advisors Prof. Dr Zhe Lin, Prof. Dr Parasuraman Padmanabhan and Prof. Dr Iype Cherian bringing expertise across point-of-care technology, science and technology, and interventional radiology.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of senior world-class advisors to the Group. These are distinguished leaders with outstanding records in their fields, and we are honoured to have them join us.

Their experience, insight and global perspective will strengthen our direction as we continue to build solutions that integrate diagnostics, preventive care and wellness. With their guidance and your continued commitment, we will bring more world-class, distinctive products into the Group.”

The Group will report progress against each appointee’s priorities with its half-year results in November 2026 and every quarter thereafter.

FMV’s existing leadership remains unchanged, with Ravindran Govindan, Executive Chairman and Managing Director; Shankar Varadarajan, Group Chief Operating Officer; Svetlana Rao, Group Executive Director; and Vivek Balasubramanian, Group Chief Financial Officer, continuing in their respective roles.

Ms Svetlana Rao Raviwada will also take on the additional role of Chief Executive of FMV India, bringing the Group’s India-based operating companies under one leader while continuing as Executive Director.

India is FMV’s largest operating base and is home to its manufacturing facility at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone in Visakhapatnam, Time Medical International Ventures, and companies operating in preventive and digital health and life sciences.

The appointments reflect FMV’s next stage of development, as the Group moves from product development towards manufacturing, clinical and scientific validation, commercialisation, partnerships and disciplined financial management. The Group has developed a family of imaging systems, won public health programmes in the Philippines and Indonesia, and built operating companies in five countries.

“We are entering an exciting phase. A new wave of innovations is on its way, and these products are being built to set global benchmarks. To deliver on that promise, we are growing our team, bringing in fresh talent and strengthening the capabilities that will carry us forward. We must remember who we are. We are not just equipment manufacturers. We are end-to-end solution providers, integrating diagnostics, preventive care and wellness into one connected approach to health. Our purpose is to help people detect earlier, prevent better and live healthier lives.

We have made tremendous progress, and we are now set to enter the market with world-first solutions and technologies. This vision can only be achieved together. I invite every member of our team to bring your best ideas, your curiosity and your commitment to excellence each day.

Let us strive to reach high, and build something the world will look up to. I am excited about the amazing journey we will take together.”
