The Space Lab offers a wide variety of programs on new and emerging technologies such as rocket science, satellite applications, drones, Robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing, aircraft, etc.
Giving this information in the press conference, the director of the school, Kunal Bhilare said that India is now reaching Moon &, Mars and our school want to provide a skill-oriented platform to it’s student to become a scientist of tomorrow. Scientist Dr. Pratik Mungekar, school‘s Administrative Manager, Yashaswini Bhilare, and principal Renu Patil will be present for the inauguration.
In this laboratory Scale Model of ISRO Space Launchers are installed such as SLV 3, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV D1, GSLV MK III, SSLV along with Chandrayaan 1, Mangalyaan 1 satellite model for study purposes. Apart from this, small radio-controlled aircraft like Pushpakyan, Garuda Viman, Gagan Viman, and drones made by Vyomika Space can also be seen. A demonstration of remote piloting of these aircraft will also be shown during the event. Two telescopes have been installed in the laboratory and through this the students will get an opportunity to study various phenomena happening in space. Apart from this, things like robot kits, light following-kit, Bluetooth control robot, quadcopter drone, etc. can be seen in the laboratory.
