
New Delhi/ Feb 26th: Ritco Logistics has inducted 100 newly customized heavy-duty fleets dedicated to the steel and infrastructure sector. The company has deployed these fleets from its Orissa Fleet Centre, a major steel manufacturing hub, to meet rising demand from leading steel producers and industrial players. The newly inducted 40-ft customized side-body fleets are designed to transport steel coils, TMT bars, and sheets.
The expansion aligns with Government of India initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti, National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Dedicated Freight Corridors, metro rail expansion, and renewable energy projects. The deployment strengthens first-mile connectivity from the steel hub and enables faster dispatch, reduced idle time, and dedicated supervision. The BS6-compliant vehicles are equipped with advanced telematics, 24×7 GPS-enabled monitoring, route optimization, and safety tracking, supporting Ritco’s industry-focused 3PL strategy.
