BikeWo Explores Strategic Expansion into Warehousing and Integrated Logistics Infrastructure

Aug 26: BikeWo GreenTech Limited is exploring strategic opportunities to expand its presence into warehousing and integrated logistics infrastructure, as part of its broader vision to build a comprehensive mobility and logistics ecosystem.

The proposed expansion is expected to complement BikeWo’s growing focus on electric mobility, fleet leasing, and logistics operations, enabling the Company to progressively participate across a wider portion of the logistics value chain.

As part of this initiative, BikeWo intends to evaluate warehousing opportunities and operating models across key logistics markets in India. The Company is exploring infrastructure that could support sectors including e-commerce, automotive, electric mobility, FMCG, retail, enterprise logistics, and other high-growth supply chains.

BikeWo’s proposed approach goes beyond viewing warehouses purely as storage infrastructure. As supply chains become increasingly technology-driven, the Company intends to evaluate technology-enabled warehousing incorporating automation, digital warehouse management, and data intelligence, integrated progressively with its fleet and logistics capabilities.

Given BikeWo’s existing focus on electric mobility, the Company also intends to explore integration between warehousing, EV fleets, charging infrastructure, and first-mile and last-mile transportation, with the objective of enabling more efficient movement of goods and better utilisation of logistics assets.

BikeWo intends to evaluate a combination of owned, leased, operated, build-to-suit, and partnership-led models, with an emphasis on capital efficiency and scalability.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said:Warehousing is a natural extension of the logistics ecosystem we are building at BikeWo. Our objective is not merely to add physical infrastructure, but to explore how warehousing can work together with technology, electric mobility and fleet operations to create a more connected logistics platform. We intend to identify scalable opportunities and work with the right partners as we progressively expand across the logistics value chain.”

BikeWo intends to initially focus its warehousing evaluation on Hyderabad as the first phase, before progressively exploring opportunities across other key logistics markets in India. The Company invites warehouse owners, developers, 3PL operators, enterprise customers, technology providers, and strategic partners to engage with BikeWo and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

The proposed warehousing expansion is presently at an exploratory stage and will be evaluated based on commercial viability, strategic fit and applicable approvals. Further disclosures will be made as required under applicable laws and regulations.
