Navi Mumbai, Dec 13th: Alumil India, the fully-owned Indian subsidiary of Alumil Group – one of the global pioneers in designing and manufacturing of high-quality architectural aluminium systems, has announced the appointment of Mr Vaggelis Papanikolaou as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, Mr Papanikolaou will oversee Alumil India’s operational strategy, focusing on driving alignment and cross functional operations, efficiency and, build the foundations for scalable growth across the Indian market. He brings more than 10 years of international experience within the Alumil Group, leading strategic initiatives in digital transformation, business process optimization and product development across multiple global markets.

Prior to this, Mr Vaggelis Papanikolaou served as Group Digital Business Development Manager at Alumil’s global headquarters in Greece. Here, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital strategies across several countries, including Greece, Cyprus, Serbia and Romania. His appointment reinforces Alumil India’s focus on operational excellence, innovation and sustainable growth in one of the company’s fastest-growing markets.

Mr Papanikolaou holds a Master’s degree in Science (MSc) specializing in Energy Systems from the International Hellenic University as well as a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace – (D.U.Th.).
