CII Telangana to host a Conference on Industrial Safety in Pharma and Chemical Sector

Hyderabad, June 19, 2025: The Pharma & Life Sciences Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Telangana, is set to host a day-long conference titled “Pillars of Protection – Forging a Safer Future for Pharma and Chemical Manufacturing” on 25th June 2025 at The Park Hotel, Hyderabad.

Disclosing this in a press note issued in the city today, CII said, this landmark conference supports the state’s vision of doubling its life sciences ecosystem and positioning Hyderabad as Asia’s pharma hub. It aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and promote a culture of safety and resilience in industrial operations, paving the way for a secure and sustainable future.

Key focus areas include: Best practices in EHS and operational safety; Regulatory updates and compliance frameworks; Risk management, hazard control, and incident prevention; Case studies on innovation and safe manufacturing systems

The conference targets EHS & Compliance OfficersPlant & Site HeadsQA/QC and Regulatory Affairs ProfessionalsR&D ExpertsConsultants, and Policy Influencers.

Attendees will gain exclusive insights from top policymakers, global safety experts, and regulatory authorities. The sessions will offer practical solutions to contemporary challenges and provide networking opportunities with decision-makers from leading pharma and chemical companies.

The CII Telangana Pharma & Life Sciences Committee (2025–26) is focused on five pillars: Operational Excellence, Technology Adoption, Sustainability and ESG, MSME and Startup Development, Policy Advocacy

Initiatives under this include lean manufacturing workshopstech pilotsESG certificationMSME mentorship, and policy support.
