FTCCI and NSIL, a PSU of Govt of India jointly organised a 120-hour Certificate Course on Accounting, Finance, and Management for rural womenHyderabad, August 23, 2024: A 120-hour certificate course on Accounting, Finance, and Management, specially designed for women participants, was inaugurated today in Medak. Supported by New Space India Limited (NSIL) and jointly organized by The Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI). The program was aimed at empowering rural women, equipping them with essential skills in finance and management.

NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India and under the Department of Space.

70 rural women utilised the opportunity and participated with great enthusiasm.

The initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing women’s financial and managerial capabilities in Medak, contributing to their personal growth and the broader socio-economic development of the region.

The District Administration of Medak, Mr. Rahul Raj, the Collector of Medak, particularly the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) and the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, played a crucial role in supporting the program.

The program was graced by Mrs. Uma Sekhar, IFS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs; Mr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCCI. Mrs. Uma Sekhar highlighted the initiatives of NSIL and emphasized the critical role of women in the nation’s development. The President of FTCCI, Mr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, assured the full support of FTCCI to the women participants throughout the course, reinforcing the commitment to empowering women through education and skill development.

Ms. Kanthi Wesley, Director of the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, was instrumental in ensuring the successful inauguration of the program.

Dr. Ankit Bhatnagar, the program in charge from FTCCI said, the insightful sessions were led by Dr. Sarma, Prof. Uday Shankar, and Sk Subhani, who shared their expertise on various subjects related to accounting, finance, and management.
