Holi-festival of colors also brings colors to the Hospitality and aviation industry, pre and the week of the festival has shown a significant rise in domestic travel. States like Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Utter Pradesh are famous for their different versions of celebrating Holi such as Barsane ki Holi, Lath Mar Holi, Royal Holi of Rajasthan, etc. and it is the first restriction-free Holi post covid we are happy to see the upward trend in hotel booking in these states as well as in other parts of India.
The growing trend of last-minute travel would result in to surge in demand in the coming days. Lords Group of Hotels and Resorts has seen strong growth since the start of the year and expects it to continue through the next few quarters. Travellers are showing a strong preference for budget segment hotels attributing to the increasing travel cost, curbing their own expenses, and still enjoying the Holiday Season.
I would also like to include here that Holi is a kind of grand farewell ceremony for the Inbound tourism season for the year, Jaipur is a very prime example of this trend where hotel rooms get more revenue in comparison to the Diwali Holiday season.
We have already started celebrations by providing Holi packages at our Leisure destinations and 26% discount at our properties (Until 31st March 2023) so our guests can enjoy organic & eco-friendly Holi with Lords Hotels and Resorts.
