Mika Virtanen new VP for Air Technology & Electromechanics at Dacke Industri

Dacke Industri’s recent year of strong growth means that we can now take further steps towards greater expansion. We streamline and optimize our divisions for Fluid Power Technology, Air Technology & Electromechanics, Special Technology, Electronics and Building Systems & Products.

Dacke Industri is pleased to announce that Mika Virtanen has been appointed VP for the Air Technology & Electromechanics division, as of November 1, 2022.

Throughout his professional career, Mika has worked in several leading positions within companies globally, such as terminals and harbor cranes, automation, mining and construction. He has been part of Kalmar’s management team in Cargotec and led extensive business areas with broad global responsibility. He has also worked as CEO of Bromma in Singapore. After fifteen years at Cargotec, he moved on to the listed company Robit Plc in Finland, where he worked as CEO. Most recently, he comes from Pimatic, one of our subsidiaries, where he steered the business in the right direction as CEO. He is now handing over that role to drive, develop and continue the journey of growth for the entire Air Technology & Electromechanics division, centered around pneumatics and electromechanics in industrial applications.
