Mumbai, 1st September 2025: In a landmark initiative set to foster creative excellence and bridge the representation gap in India’s booming media and entertainment sector, the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aptech Limited—a pioneer in vocational training and global learning solutions. The partnership launches an eight-month residential training programme in 3D Animation & VFX, specifically designed for empowering emerging talent from the Northeast region.
This learning programme, comprising six months of intensive classroom training followed by two months of practical, on-the-job experience, is meticulously crafted to meet the evolving industry standards. Learners undergo comprehensive assessment and certification, with assured placement support, enabling them to confidently embark on careers in the rapidly-evolving creative and the Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sectors.
To ensure industry-readiness from day one, every trainee is equipped with high-performance laptops, preloaded with essential production tools such as Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite. The curriculum is delivered by NFDC-certified trainers and leading industry professionals, blending rigorous theoretical learning, practical exercises, hands-on training, and expert-led masterclasses for a holistic skilling journey.
