1. About the Japan Mobility Show 2025

True to its spirit of innovation, Honda is presenting a wide range of mobility technologies that transcend traditional boundaries — spanning land, sea, skies, and even outer space. Visitors are invited to experience these exhibits firsthand and explore Honda’s vision for an exciting, sustainable future.

2. Next-Generation EVs for an Electrified Era

Honda continues to pursue its 2050 carbon neutrality goal for all products and operations. Despite evolving market conditions, Honda remains confident in the long-term global transition toward EVs and is preparing to introduce advanced, emotionally engaging electric models.

Honda 0 Series “Thin, Light, and Wise.”

The Honda 0 Series redefines EV design by rejecting the notion that electric vehicles must be “thick and heavy.” Instead, it embraces a philosophy of lightness, efficiency, and intelligence.

The Honda 0 Saloon Prototype, built on a low-floor EV platform, offers a sporty exterior with an unexpectedly spacious cabin. The Honda 0 SUV Prototype further applies this design philosophy to create flexibility, visibility, and comfort. Both feature ASIMO OS, Honda’s original vehicle operating system that enables ongoing learning and “ultra-personal optimization” for each user.

Honda 0 α (Alpha) Prototype

Making its world premiere, the Honda 0 α is a sleek, urban-meets-nature SUV featuring a low profile and spacious interior. Production is slated to begin in 2027, targeting markets in Japan and India, with broader global expansion to follow.

By March 2028, three Honda 0 Series models  the Saloon, SUV, and α  will be available in Japan.

Acura RSX Prototype

Also debuting in Japan, the Acura RSX Prototype is the first model built on Honda’s next-generation EV platform, offering an intelligent, adaptive driving experience through ASIMO OS.

3. Reimagining Motorcycling EV OUTLIER Concept

The EV OUTLIER Concept marks a bold new chapter in electric two-wheelers. With in-wheel motors on both front and rear wheels, it delivers dynamic, low-profile styling and performance that redefine motorcycle design beyond 2030.

4. The Joy of Driving: Honda’s Enduring Philosophy

Honda remains committed to delivering the “joy of driving”, ensuring that the emotional connection between driver and vehicle continues into the EV era.

Super-ONE Prototype

The Super-ONE is a compact EV designed to inspire everyday excitement. Built on a lightweight N Series platform, it features flared fenders, agile handling, and a unique “Boost Mode” that simulates gear-shifting sound for a spirited drive.
The model will launch in 2026, beginning in Japan, followed by Asia and the U.K.

New Prelude

The iconic Prelude returns as a specialty sports model, embodying Honda’s timeless performance DNA and commitment to delivering pure driving pleasure in the electrified age.

5. Expanding Intelligent Technologies

Honda is enhancing its intelligent driving technologies, including next-generation ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) that can autonomously manage acceleration, steering, and navigation for a smoother and more confident ride.

Currently under public road testing in the U.S., the system is expected to roll out globally around 2027, across both EVs and hybrids.

6. Beyond Earth Honda’s Space Ambitions

In a stunning demonstration of innovation, Honda showcased its sustainable rocket, used in a successful launch and landing test in Hokkaido in June 2025.
The project integrates technologies from automated driving and aerospace development, with a focus on reusability and renewable fuel. This marks Honda’s first major step toward sustainable space exploration.

7. The Power of Dreams How We Move You

Guided by its global brand slogan, “The Power of Dreams — How We Move You,” Honda continues to challenge boundaries and create value through passion, technology, and purpose.

At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Honda invites visitors to experience the limitless possibilities of mobility — and the future it envisions for generations to come.
