New Delhi; 07.04.2023: In its endeavour to support India in achieving the prestigious mission of becoming a global Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) hub, PHDCCI, in collaboration with Association Internationale du Film d’ Animation (Asifa) India, is organising Delhi’s premier Animation fest ‘Pix-Elated 2023’. Pix-Elated 2023 is going to be a major milestone in PHDCCI’s “Create in India” mission. The event is scheduled for 8th April 2023 in New Delhi.
The festival aims to promote the creation of high-quality content that showcases India’s diverse culture, heritage, and folk art on a global scale. It will also serve as a platform for international co-productions, thereby facilitating the growth of the Indian AVGC industry. Additionally, Pix-Elated 2023 will provide a space for child-friendly content and promote the development of positive behaviour among children while protecting their rights.
The festival will also offer an exciting lineup of activities for attendees, including behind-the-scenes VFX stories of famous international movies, sessions with animation and gaming gurus, workshops on storytelling, sculpting, and photography, special sessions with women animators, art-based competitions, VR experience zone, food stalls, and music.

Pix-Elated 2023 also attempts to facilitate a cost-effective ecosystem for high-quality content by engaging AVGC – XR software and product development companies so as to reduce the cost of the acquisition of software and technologies. The festival also intends to promote Indian artisans, by offering a platform to identify and encourage various skill individuals, groups, and cultural organizations engaged in performing, visual and literary arts.
