In a strong step towards environmental sustainability, Smiling Tree, a leading green initiative dedicated to climate action and ecological awareness, has launched its latest campaign — ‘Reuse & Recycle’. The campaign is designed to promote mindful consumption, responsible waste management, and eco-friendly living among communities across Delhi-NCR.
The initiative was announced by Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, Founder of Smiling Tree and a passionate environmentalist. Speaking at the campaign launch, Dr. Kwatra said, “Our planet is drowning in waste. It’s time we realize that sustainability begins at home. Through this campaign, we aim to inspire individuals and institutions to adopt the 3Rs — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — in their everyday lives. A small change in our habits can lead to a big impact on the environment.”
The ‘Reuse & Recycle’ campaign includes a series of community outreach programs, school visits, eco-workshops, and awareness drives that educate people on repurposing old materials, segregating waste, and minimizing plastic usage. Smiling Tree’s team of volunteers and green ambassadors will lead these activities, collaborating with local residents, students, and civic bodies.
Special collection points for recyclable materials are also being set up across various localities to encourage public participation. The initiative aims to build a culture of sustainability by making recycling accessible, easy, and impactful.
Smiling Tree has already received enthusiastic support from educational institutions, RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations), and corporate partners who are joining hands in this movement for a greener tomorrow.
