Chennai, December 2022: The TSF group announced the launch of the Indian manufacturing facility of Leggaro Composites. In partnership with MIND S.r.l. in Italy, a portfolio company of the TSF group, the plant in India will manufacture high quality, cost competitive carbon composites for the global market.
Leggaro’s new plant in Chennai was set up with state-of-the-art equipment with technical support from the global team. The facility will soon commence serial production and supply of carbon fibre components to the European market. The team has established strict controls
on materials and process parameters, with part-wise traceability, in order to meet the strict aesthetic and quality requirements of the global luxury car market.
In November 2020, the TSF group forged a strategic partnership with MIND S.r.l, located in the Italian Motor Valley in Bologna. With strong presence in composite parts manufacturing, MIND has forged valuable relationships with marquee customers across Europe. The company boasts of complete integration in design and composite components manufacturing and is a flexible organization, highly oriented to customer service. TSF group’s large-scale manufacturing and automation experience complements MIND’s existing capabilities.

The plants in Bologna, Italy and Chennai, India have a built-up area of 10,000 square metres with specialisation in delivering components in composite using the most advanced technologies of transformation of carbon fiber including IP-protected innovations.
Concurring with Sriram, Francesco Varrasi – CEO, MIND S.r.l added, “MIND, the Italian base of Leggaro, has developed its experience in carbon composites over several years and established itself as a supplier to many luxury car brands and motor sports companies. In the long term, Leggaro will be a key player in the carbon composite design and manufacturing space. It would capitalize on manufacturing excellence, coupled with global design and customer relationships. Leggaro is eyeing expansion in terms of global presence and product range in aerospace, defence, industrial goods and healthcare domains.
