New Delhi, Mar 12: Television weddings often bring a mix of emotions, drama, and celebration for viewers, and the excitement is just as real for the actors portraying these moments on screen. In Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani on Sun Neo, audiences are currently witnessing an intense wedding track between Garv and Vaishnavi. Actress Shreya Jain, who plays Vaishnavi in the show, recently shared her experience of shooting for the wedding sequence and carrying the beautiful bridal look on screen.
Speaking about dressing up as a bride, Shreya said that the experience was both exciting and memorable.
“Girls usually love dressing up and getting ready, and when it comes to bridal outfits, the excitement becomes even more special. As actors, we get the chance to wear many different kinds of outfits, and right now in our show Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani, we are shooting for a wedding sequence. The bridal outfit I’m wearing in the show is extremely beautiful, and I truly enjoy carrying it on screen,” she shared.
However, she also acknowledged the challenges that come with elaborate television wedding costumes.
“Of course, sometimes the outfits are quite heavy and can feel a little uncomfortable, especially because our shoot hours are long. Wedding sequences in shows usually go on for many days, and since my character Vaishnavi is present in almost every scene of this track, I have to stay in the heavy outfit and jewelry for a long time. It can definitely get tiring at times. But the moment I see myself in the mirror, looking like a bride, I forget all the discomfort and it feels totally worth it,” she added.
Talking about the storyline, Shreya revealed that the marriage between Garv and Vaishnavi is not as straightforward as it appears.
“In the story, the marriage between Garv and Vaishnavi is actually a forced one. However, the way Garv is currently pampering Vaishnavi, behaving well with her, and showing affection makes Vaishnavi see him in a slightly different light. She starts feeling that maybe he is the kind of partner she always wished for. But as viewers already know, Garv has his own plans, and very soon the story will take an unexpected turn,” she said.
With emotional twists, dramatic moments, and captivating performances, the wedding track promises to keep audiences hooked in the coming episodes.
