Hyderabad, November 4, 2025: In a delightful fusion of creativity and cause, the Tourism Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) has found a “sweet” way to grab public attention for its ongoing Traffic Junction Jewels Photo Contest — by sending out cakes with messages iced on top!

Partnering with Country Oven and supported by the Tourism Department, Government of Telangana, GHMC, and the Hyderabad City Police, the FTCCI’s innovative outreach campaign uses the universal language of celebration — cake — to spread awareness and invite participation in the contest.
Each cake carried an image of a traffic junction, a message like: “Click. Capture. Celebrate”; Hyderabad’s Traffic Jewels!”; “Stop. Look. Shoot – Every Junction Tells a Story!”; “From Chaos to Charm – Hyderabad’s Junctions Deserve a Frame!”
“The idea was to do something unexpected, something that brings a smile while promoting a civic and cultural cause,” said Ravi Kunar, President of FTCCI; Valmiki Harikishan, Advisor; Prakash Ammanabolu, Chairman; D. Ramchandram, Co-Chairman, FTCCI Tourism Committee.
“When awareness messages are served on a cake, they’re impossible to ignore!”, added Ms Sangeetha, Director and Ms Vishala, Sr Officer at FTCCI.
The Traffic Junction Jewels Photo Contest aims to highlight the beauty, energy, and stories of Hyderabad’s busiest intersections — transforming everyday commutes into frames of art.
The cakes were symbolically shared with individuals and influencer circles, making the campaign both edible and Instagrammable.
The objective of Hyderabad Junction Jewels – Photo Contest is to showcase Hyderabad’s creative traffic junction attractions—from the Pearl installation near Charminar to fountains, sculptures, statues, and beautification projects that have transformed traffic junctions into cultural landmarks. The contest encourages citizens to pause, capture, and celebrate Hyderabad’s crossroads of art and identity. Every citizen of the city must explore the city before venturing out to explore the state, country, and foreign countries, said Prakash Ammanbolu, Chairman of the Tourism Committee
FTCCI urged people of Hyderabad to participate in large numbers in the Traffic Junction Jewels Photo Contest. The deadline for the same to send entries is November 22, 2025.
Anybody can participate. There is no entry fee.
