In the heartland of Kurukshetra, where ancient wisdom meets modern innovation, MP Naveen Jindal launched a clarion call for a global shift toward organic farming. Backed by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, and Padma Shri Dr. Hariom, Jindal emphasized that organic farming holds the key to boosting farmers’ incomes while responding to the surging demand for natural, chemical-free produce.

He encouraged farmers to begin by implementing natural farming methods at home, to actively engage with agricultural experts, and to utilize the resources offered by agri-science centers across the country.

Jindal also expressed unwavering support for India’s armed forces in light of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, condemning the act and reaffirming the country’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism. Leading the gathering in chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” he honored the courage of the military and called for national unity in the face of such threats.

Padma Shri Dr. Hariom credited Jindal with bringing the issue of organic farming to Parliament, which played a key role in launching the ₹2481 crore National Mission on Natural Farming. Citing a 2023 report by 12 scientists, Dr. Hariom warned of a 45% drop in the nutritional value of wheat and rice since 1970 and raised concerns over deteriorating groundwater in Haryana, calling organic farming the only sustainable path forward for food and water security.

The three-day conclave aims to empower farmers with knowledge and innovation. With expert sessions, startup showcases, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities, the event serves as a vital platform to foster collaboration between policymakers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and cultivators committed to transforming Indian agriculture.
