Jaipur: ARCH College of Design & Business has partnered with RAJEEVIKA to enhance the design and marketing of handmade products crafted by women across Rajasthan. Marking the beginning of this collaboration, Archana Surana welcomed Neeru Meena, State Project Manager at RAJEEVIKA, to the ARCH College campus for student interaction and presentation.
Under its umbrella brand ‘Raj Sakhi,’ RAJEEVIKA empowers thousands of women by providing market linkages and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The collaboration with ARCH aims to upscale these businesses by integrating design-driven solutions, boosting sales, and strengthening e-commerce presence.
ARCH College has a longstanding commitment to women’s empowerment, having previously worked with women artisans in Tal Chhapar Churu district on sustainable design goals. Archana Surana, Founder & Director of ARCH College, has been actively involved in projects that uplift women entrepreneurs and provide them with skill-building opportunities.
This initiative presents an exciting opportunity for ARCH students to work directly with women artisans, bringing fresh ideas for storytelling and branding across categories such as self-care, fashion, home décor, bags, and soft toys. As part of the project, students will visit villages to engage with the artisans, gaining hands-on experience in design intervention. The focus will be on enhancing marketing, packaging, e-commerce, and social media outreach to help scale women-led businesses.
This collaboration marks a significant step in fostering innovation, sustainability, and economic empowerment for women in Rajasthan.
