New Delhi, Aug 13: Bharat Taxi is expanding its presence in India’s digital mobility sector, with 8.48 lakh drivers registered on the platform and around 11,106 rides being completed each day.
The platform has also registered 44.27 lakh customers, reflecting growing interest in app-based transportation services.
Bharat Taxi is currently operating in several parts of the country, including Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, with plans to gradually expand its services to more regions.
The platform is also creating new income opportunities for participating drivers. The cooperative-based model aims to give drivers greater participation in the digital mobility ecosystem while supporting their livelihoods.
The growing use of digital ride-booking services is also supporting related sectors such as vehicle maintenance, digital payments, technology and local transportation services.
