Ketto and Imagicaa Collaborate to Deliver Experience-Driven Social Impact

Mumbai, May 04: Ketto, a crowdfunding platform focused on healthcare and social causes, partnered with Ray of Joy, a nonprofit working with children from underserved communities, and Imagicaa, a premier theme park and entertainment destination, hosted a day-long recreational experience for children and their caregivers.

The initiative reflected a broader effort to complement essential support—such as healthcare, education, and nutrition—with opportunities that contribute to children’s social and emotional development. While Ketto has continued to mobilise resources through its platform and sustained giving models, including Ketto SIP (Social Impact Plan), it has also expanded its focus to address inclusion beyond financial assistance.

As part of the programme, children and their caregivers spent the day at Imagicaa enjoying a mix of rides, themed attractions, interactive entertainment, and shared group activities. For many, it was their first visit to a theme park—an opportunity to explore new environments, engage freely, and experience moments of excitement and joy in a setting designed for play and discovery.

Imagicaa hosted the group within a well-maintained, safe, and hygienic environment, supported by trained personnel and established safety protocols to ensure a secure and child-friendly experience. The initiative forms part of Imagicaa’s broader commitment to community engagement, with a continued focus on making such experiences more accessible to children from diverse and underserved backgrounds.

Access to safe and engaging recreational spaces remains limited for many children. Yet, such experience-led exposure plays an important role in supporting emotional well-being—helping build confidence, reduce stress, and foster a sense of inclusion and belonging. By facilitating this initiative, the partnership aimed to support a more holistic approach to child development.

Commenting on the initiative, Varun Sheth, Co-founder and CEO, Ketto, said: “Ketto’s work has traditionally focused on enabling access to critical services such as healthcare, education, and nutrition. This initiative builds on that foundation by recognising the importance of experiences in supporting children’s well-being and sense of inclusion. Through this partnership, we aimed to extend access to environments that enable children to engage, explore, and experience moments of joy.”

Dhimant Bakshi, CEO and CMO of Imagicaa, added: “For many of these children, this was more than just a day at a park—it was a chance to simply be carefree, to laugh, explore, and create happy memories. We’re glad to open our spaces to experiences like these. Through this collaboration, we hope to make such moments more accessible and continue building initiatives that bring joy and a sense of belonging to children who need it most.”
