Mumbai, 15 March 2023: Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has appointed Delhi-based public limited infrastructure consultancy company Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd. (REPL), as Project Management Consultant (PMC) (Group 3) for construction of dwelling units under Ashray Yojana.
In order to provide staff quarters to all employees and conservancy staff of the Solid Waste Management Dept. using the municipal fund, MCGM has implemented the ‘Ashray Yojana’. However, due to the lack of available land for the development of new tenements, MCGM is redeveloping the conservancy staff quarters on a total of 37 designated site locations spread over Mumbai City & Suburbs, clubbed into 11 Groups.
In an official statement, Mr. Pradeep Misra (CMD-REPL) said, Conservancy workers are the primary force in maintaining sanitation and hygiene in any city. This workforce is prone to health issues due to the nature and atmosphere of the work. It is critical to take the necessary steps to reduce the possibility of diseases among them, and providing a sanitary living environment is regarded as the most important. While providing PMC support on this project, we will bring our previous experience to achieve the desired objectives for building quality accommodation for the workforce.
Mr. Ameet Hede (VP-REPL) shared that REPL will undertake detailed design, validation, proof checking, construction supervision, safety assurance, quality assurance, quality control, and quality audit including architectural services for obtaining construction-related approvals. Besides this, the company will also ensure construction quality as per the benchmarks and monitor the execution as per the plan from time to time.
Group 3 sites includes Gautam Nagar Phase- II, Raoli Camp Building A1 & A2 (Sardarnagar), Kalpak Plot (Salt Pan), Raoli Camp Transit Camp, N. M. Joshi Marg, Mahim Plot, and Shish Mahal which will collectively have 2450+ tenements.
Apart from working on various PMC projects, REPL is doing infrastructure and planning projects for both the State and Central Government at pan India level. Those include Smart Cities projects, PMAY, BIM consultancy for Chennai Metro Rail, GIS-Based master plans, Roads & Highways, street vending plans, and many more.
