Gurugram, Aug 21: Standard Chartered today announced the opening of two new Affluent Banking Centres within its existing branches in Gurugram, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to growing its Affluent, Wealth and SME businesses in India while deepening relationships across the client continuum.
These centres are part of the existing branches located at Sector 65 and Golf Course Road in Gurugram, further strengthening the Bank’s presence in Delhi NCR, a key market for both Affluent and SME Banking.
PD Singh, CEO, India and South Asia, Standard Chartered and Aditya Mandloi, MD & Head, Wealth and Retail Banking, India and South Asia, Standard Chartered, inaugurated the two centres, in the presence of other senior colleagues from the Bank.
India is among the key markets for Standard Chartered’s Wealth & Retail Banking business and is also a significant contributor to the Bank’s SME Banking franchise.
These new centres are designed to offer an elevated and differentiated experience for affluent clients bringing together the Bank’s wealth expertise, local market insights and the strength and reach of its international network to deliver a more holistic proposition.
One more affluent banking centre was opened within the Rajaji Salai branch in Chennai, earlier this week. This takes the Bank’s total number of Affluent Banking Centres in India to 22 within existing branches.
