World Chocolate Day with a Fun Twist to Traditional Recipes

It’s always a good time to have chocolates and World Chocolate Day is yet another excuse to indulge in different ways it can be consumed. While a bar of chocolate is always available at your hand’s reach, this year let’s try something fun and unique with Voltas Beko. Here are some unique recipes that you can try making with simple steps along with your loved ones. So don’t let anything come between you and this cherished indulgence day!

Recipe 1 – Chocolate Panini
Ingredients:
1.Thick slices of Hawaiian sweet bread
2.2 tablespoons butter, melted
3.4-6 ounce semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
4.Powdered sugar

Recipe:
Brush one side of each bread with melted butter and place the slices on a grill pan in a microwave, buttered side down.
Sprinkle it with chocolate and add a slice of bread to it.
Grill the sandwiches in your Voltas Beko microwave well until the chocolate melts and the bread is golden brown.
Turn it once.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Recipe 2 – Dark Chocolate Sweet Potato Chips
Ingredients:
1.2 large sweet potatoes
2.1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
3.½ tablespoon sea salt
4.¼ tablespoon ground cinnamon
5.¾ cup chopped dairy-free dark chocolate
Recipe:
Pre-heat your Voltas Beko microwave to 375 F
Thinly slice the sweet potatoes.
In a large bowl, toss the sweet potatoes in oil. Then add sea salt and cinnamon.
Arrange the sweet potatoes in a single layer on baking sheets and cook in your Voltas Beko microwave for 30-45 minutes. Flip once or twice. You can cook all of them at the same time as it has a large turntable with ample room for large size containers.
Melt chocolate for about 20 seconds in the Voltas Beko microwave. Re-microwave later to liquidify it if required.
Once the chips are cooked, immediately dip into the melted chocolate and serve.
