DPS Indirapuram celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on Independence Day…

DPS Indirapuram organized Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav week to celebrate 75th Independence Day from 8th August to 15th August which involved plethora of activities and competitions to make the occasion remarkable ad special.

Activities were based on the theme of ‘Patriotism’ to motivate and encourage students. The celebrations started while remembering Lord Ganesha’s Gayatri Mantra and students, teachers took oath with the Principal The Principal and Headmistress graced the occasion. Students were seen holding flags and posters in their hands while few were seen wearing national flag badges. Students and participants were in energy, zeal and were seen enjoying the enormous activities organized for them.

The event was illuminated with colours of the flag which aroused the feeling of patriotism amongst all present from students to faculties. Activities ranging from interhouse quiz for classes 9 and 10 to Har Ghar Tiranga for Nursery and Prep. Adding to it, National Youth Parliament for classes 11 and 12, Hindi Recitation for classes 1 and 2, Bharat ke Veer for classes Nursery to 2 and Flag Hoisting.

The occasion was amazing and successful with active participation of students as well as teachers. Students from different classes took part in various activities and showed great enthusiasm.

I would like to congratulate all the students and faculty to organize the event to the best of their capacities. Participants showed great talents which amazed us. I hope that the celebration should have evoked patriotic feelings in you. You all should be appreciated for your efforts. Students you are the future of our country so be motivated, dedicated and ensure making a country that is happy and healthy. Do not forget the hardships, pain and struggles by our freedom fighters.” Mrs Sangeeta Hajela, Principal, DPS Indirapuram, said.
