KCCA expands to France to explores Job Opportunities for students
Panjim, April 2022: A delegation from Culinary B-school Kamaxi College of Culinary Arts (KCCA) affiliated by Goa University, recently visited France and interacted with master chefs from the region in an effort to explore opportunities for the Goa based students of the culinary management course.
KCCA offers a three year culinary management degree programme approved by Goa University has opened admissions.
During the two-week long tour, Parixit Pai Fondekar, Founder, KCCA along with French Master Chef and Maître Cuisinier de France Patrick Albert who is on the faculty team as Head Chef interacted with 80 + chefs and discussed opportunities for international exposure for the students of KCCA.
Chef Patrick is a member of Academie Culinaire De France which is a prestigious association of the master chefs of France. The association of French master chefs discussed a potential association with the Goa based management institute.
With an established network for job opportunities  in the US and Japan, KCCA now has expanded to Europe through this tour.
“My aim is to create more international job opportunities for our students because they possess the skill and endeavour that could work very well in their favour in the fast-paced culinary field abroad. At KCCA, we aim to elevate the skill-set and leadership mindset through a myriad of possibilities.”, said Parixit Pai Fondekar when asked about his recent travels and the scope of new internships.  He also added that the experience was very enlightening and fruitful.
Chef Patrick Albert, remarked “France is the home of enchanting flavours and I am glad we, at Maitre de Cuisiniers de France, were able to share it with Fondekar. It was an excellent adventure and we were indeed successful in building connections and opening new job prospects for the Indian students. France has so much potential when it comes to helping chefs everywhere shine in the culinary field and I hope the KCCA students take advantage of these opportunities.”
This tour focused majorly on building a strong network of french chefs and hoteliers which would boost the internship opportunities for students of KCCA. The institute now provides a wide range of placement opportunities which can help direct the students to build a strong international career. The students who wish to move abroad to pursue their careers in the culinary field, can now avail the internship options KCCA provides.
