Ed-tech Brand Takes Action Towards Animal Rights and Safety

Bangalore, 1st November 2022:  In an effort to empower its volunteers to take action towards urban wildlife rehabilitation and its safety, BYJU’S organized an event at PFA wildlife hospital in Kengeri, Bangalore on October 29, 2022. Bolstered by co-founder Divya Gokulnath, the aim was to raise awareness about animal protection and rescue,  while also providing support and care to abandoned urban wild animals.

There, the volunteers participated in various enrichment activities at the animal shelter, where they helped to build and paint shelters for the rescued animals. This was a great opportunity for BYJU’S volunteers to get hands-on experience with animal care while giving back to society.

Sharing their thoughts on the event, Ravi chandra, Associate artist said “Animal rights and care of rescued animals is an important concern in today’s world. We are glad that BYJU’S volunteers were able to take part in this initiative and help the cause.”

Jayanti Moitra, Student Success Specialist, added “Small steps like these go a long way in helping animals in need. We hope that BYJU’S volunteers will continue to be a part of such efforts in the future as well!”
