MunchFit wows the crowd at the 36th edition of the AAHAR food festival
MunchFit is on a mission to make millet-based snacking the next best healthy snack option, and feedback from attendees at the AAHAR food festival in Pragati Maidan, Delhi, suggests the company is on the right track.
 The International Food & Hospitality Fair (AAHAR) is a flagship B2B event organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the government of India’s premier trade promotion body.
Munchfit makes millet snacks that are nutritious and contain no preservatives. Millets quickly satisfy hunger, preventing overeating. Millet is a cereal grain that is widely consumed throughout Asia. This is becoming increasingly popular due to its health benefits, including the fact that it is gluten-free and high in protein, fibre, and antioxidants. It is an initiative under ‘ Vocal for Local ‘ scheme launched by Indian Government to promote entrepreneur skills of Indian business.
Mr Afzal commented, “People coming at the counter could be our potential customers and the way people are appreciating the snack, Munchfit will soon be seen in all the houses.”
He further added, “Being present at the food festival, it is a good boost for the brand as people visiting here are getting to know more about the brand and with free sampling, they are getting to know about it from the roots.”
As the company is still in its early stages of development, we inquired about how well-known they have become in such a short time. In response, he expressed his gratitude to the AAHAR Food Festival, which is assisting the company in gaining much-needed recognition by attracting a large number of visitors.
In terms of future plans, Mr Afzal stated that the snack will be launched soon in India’s business capital, Mumbai. Prior to that, the company had introduced new composite tube packing.
