Le Rythme organizes a musical evening – ‘Musical Tribute: Sradhanjali’ in the memory of renowned Hindustani classical singer Rini Mukherjee

New Delhi: In the memory of renowned Hindustani classical singer Rini Mukherjee, a musical evening “Musical Tribute –Sradhanjali ” was organized at Chinmaya Mission, Lodhi Road, Delhi by Le Rythme, an organization dedicated to Indian dance and music. The musical evening enthralled the audience with a heartwarming performance of a memorable dance tribute to her mother Rini Mukerji on the song ‘O Maa……’ by Riya Mukerji, young promising artist and daughter of singer Rini Mukerji. Performance  of by renowned flute player Rajendra Prasanna and Hindustani classical vocals by Pandit Ritesh and Ranjan Mishra and dance tribute by Le Rythme made the musical evening memorable

On this occasion, member of National Human Rights Commission and former Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Dnyaneshwar Mulay and Delhi Jal Board Vice Chairman and AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj were present as chief guests. The guests were welcomed with a memento by Rajeev Mukhopadhyay, husband of Rini Mukherjee and co-founder of Le Rythme.

 The Musical evening, Musical tribute Sradhanjali was comprise the performances by many prominent personalities of music world. It was ornamented with Flute Recital By Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee Pt. Rajendra Prasanna  Accompanied by Ustad Akram Khan in Tabla Hindustani classical By Pt.Ritesh & Ranjan Mishra  and Dance Tribute by Le Rythme which has been Choreographed & Directed by Santosh Nair .Around 100 students from Le Rythme performed in the memory of their  Guru and famous singer Rini Mukherjee .

Rajib Mukhapadhyay, husband of Rini Mukherjee and Co- Founder of Le Rythme informed that Le Rythme organize it’s next cultural event in the memory of its creator Smt Rini Mukherjee who has spent her life to promote Indian Art & Culture and for the benefits of the society. Now It’s our turn to pay tribute to this great soul for her relentless efforts and sacrifices at this young age.

Le Rythme has supported students from less privileged communities who are being trained by 20 eminent Gurus of the country. The academy has focused on integration of different forms of Indian dance and music for over years.
