Maharashtra Leads the Way in RKVY Implementation

Mumbai, July 27: Maharashtra has achieved a major milestone by becoming the first state to qualify for the release of the second instalment under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) after ensuring timely utilisation of allocated funds.

The state’s achievement highlights its effective implementation of agriculture-focused programmes and efficient management of financial resources aimed at supporting farmers and strengthening the rural economy.

Officials said Maharashtra’s timely completion of fund utilisation requirements enabled it to become eligible for further assistance under the scheme. The additional funds will help accelerate agricultural development activities, improve infrastructure, and support various initiatives for the farming community.
