SEOCON 25 Brings Together Global ENT Surgeons at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune

Pune, September 19th 2025: The Society of Endoscopic Otolaryngologists (SEO) announced SEOCON 25, an international conference that redefined standards in endoscopic ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery. The four-day academic and cultural celebration was held at Dr.  D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune and brought together more than 300 ENT surgeons, innovators and researchers from across India and abroad.

SEOCON 25 offered an exceptional blend of academic rigor and cultural camaraderie. The scientific program featured global faculty and prestigious orations, including renowned names such as Prof. Daniele Marchioni (Italy)Prof. Robert Mlynski (Germany) and Prof. Satish Jain (India).

Speaking about the conference, Dr. Mayur Ingale, Head of the Department of Oto-Rhinolaryngology said that SEOCON 25 was not just a platform for showcasing surgical techniques but also an opportunity to shape the future of budding ENT surgeons in India. By engaging with global experts and exposing students and faculty to cutting-edge practices, the next generation of ENT surgeons is being prepared to meet tomorrow’s healthcare challenges.

Delegates benefitted from hands-on exposure through cutting-edge live surgeries and cadaveric dissections, spanning three intensive days of endoscopic and microscopic ENT procedures.

The conference also hosted focused scientific symposia that explored the latest advancements in tympanoplasty, ossiculoplasty, cholesteatoma, stapes surgery, cochlear implantation, vertigo, allergy, sleep surgery, medicolegal challenges and emerging ENT innovations. These sessions translated evidence-based insights directly into clinical practice, equipping surgeons with tools to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.

Recognising its academic value, SEOCON 25 was accredited by the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) with 4 MMC credit hours for the main conference. The Head of the Department of Oto-Rhinolaryngology, Dr. Mayur Ingale, along with Organising Chairman, Dr. Mubarak M. Khan and Organising Secretary, Dr. Sapna R. Parab, led SEOCON 25, a conference that combined clinical precision with imaginative innovation.
