Thrissur: Manappuram Finance Limited has jointly organised a two day Social Security Facilitation camp with EPFO Kochi for the enrolment of various EPFO welfare schemes. The event was conducted as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a Govt of India initiative celebrating 75the year of independence. The camp held at Manappuram House in Valappad has concluded on Friday. The camp was focused on the filing of nomination to Employee’s Provident Fund, Pension and insurance schemes. More than 10000 nominations were filed during the two day event. Regional PF Commissioner Shri Samom Dinachandra Singh, Manappuram Finance Ltd MD Shri VP Nandakumar, Asst. PF Commissioner Mr. Vincent Jacob Cheru spoke in the valedictory function held at Manappuram House Valappad.
Manappuram Finance has taken a good initiative by completing e-nomination around 62% from 17%, becoming one among the top organizations in India by crossing the benchmarks within a short span of time. said Samom Dinchandra Singh, Regional PF Commissioner. He also thanked V P Nandakumar for the activities undertaken for the welfare of Manappuram employees. With the help of EPFO, we have already completed around 17500 e-filing meeting above the industry standards. As a corporate citizen, we ensure the safety of each employee’s family, said V P Nandakumar, MD and CEO of Manappuram Finance.
Digitalisation of the nominations will ensure transparency and quick delivery of services and the beneficiaries can submit the claims online. Also filing of E- nomination is essential in order to receive benefits of the Prayas scheme envisaged for issuing the Pension Payment Order in the very day of retirement. Members can record the name of nominees, their bank account details, photographs etc through E-nomination and authenticate it by means of Aadhar OTP.
