Bhubaneswar, July 11: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar, has invited eligible educational institutions to apply online for examination centre acceptance to conduct the October–November 2026 Public Examinations for Secondary, Senior Secondary, and Vocational courses.
As per NIOS Notification No. 39/2026, eligible institutions are invited to register online for examination centre acceptance through the NIOS Examination Portal at https://exams.nios.ac.in. The online registration process will remain open until 23 July 2026.
NIOS conducts Public Examinations twice every year, during the April–May and October–November sessions. The theory examinations for the October–November 2026 session are likely to commence in the first week of October 2026.
Examination centres will be fixed at PM SHREE Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Government and Government-aided schools, private schools, colleges, and institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, and Universities, in accordance with the NIOS Examination By-laws and guidelines issued from time to time.
After completing the online application, institutions are required to submit the duly filled original Centre Acceptance Form to the NIOS Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar, for further processing.
NIOS has urged all eligible institutions to complete the registration within the stipulated timeline to facilitate the smooth and timely conduct of the October–November 2026 Public Examinations.
