State Government must offer minimum 5 lakh health insurance to Mumbaikars for critical diseases – MP Gopal Shetty

Considering this MP Gopal Shetty has appealed to the state & central Government that Mumbaikar who are living in 300 square feet area or less than that must offer 5 lakh health insurance on the occasion of inauguration of Apex Hospital at Kandivali. MP Gopal Shetty inaugurated the sixth hospital in the Apex Group of Hospitals at Akurli Road, Kandivali (East). Apex Hospital Group had started a hospital at Chandavarkar Road, Borivali West 16 years ago and today the total number of hospitals in the group has increased to 6 and in the next 10 years, five more hospitals will be started by Dr. Vrajesh Shah. Importantly, the first hospital in the Apex group was also inaugurated by MP Gopal Shetty. Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Surve and BJP MLA Atul Bhatkalkar were present on the occasion. All the hospitals in the Apex group are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and successfully treat cath labs, knee and joint transplants, cancer and many other common ailments and rare ailments.

Inaugurating the hospital at Akurli Road, Kandivali, MP Gopal Shetty said, “Performance of the Apex Group of Hospital in the field of health is truly commendable. The opening of the hospital will benefit Jogeshwari Malad as well as the people from Kandivali. I would also like to appeal to Dr. Vrajesh Shah to create affordable facilities for the poor patients in the Kandivali hospital and also to implement the health schemes of Central Government and Maharashtra Government here so that the Patients will have access to treatment here. “

Speaking on the occasion of inauguration of Apex Hospital at Kandivali, the Director of Apex Group of Hospital, Dr. Vrajesh Shah said, “We have developed state-of-the-art medical technology in this hospital and E-ICCCU has been set up. In this facility, the information of the patients in the intensive care unit will be on the doctor’s mobile so the doctors will be updated 24 hours a day. The hospital has a capacity of 50 beds. The hospital, with its experienced doctors and nurses, will be open to patients 24 hours a day, with Cath Lab and two operating theaters, ten-bed intensive care unit, dialysis center, ear, nose and throat department, state-of-the-art ophthalmology, state-of-the-art laboratory, laparoscopy department and outpatient department. The obstetrics and gynecology department has a system in place. The hospital will examine patients for ENT, urology, neurology, skin and other ailments.
