Kolkata, 22 June 2022: At the onset of Rabindra Jayanti this year, Indian Karaoke app StarManch announced a first-of-its-kind global digital competition on Rabindra Sangeet on the StarManch App itself for enthusiasts. This digital competition has witnessed participation from countries like Uk, USA and Bangladesh too apart from India. Now as promised earlier Starmanch has declared its upcoming music album with the top three winners of the competition at a Press Conference on Tuesday in the presence of eminent personalities like music composer Joy Sarkar, poet Srijato, veteran singers – Srikanta Acharya and Sraboni Sen. Respective names of the winners are Mr. Sukanta Chatterjee, Ms. Shaoli Bhattacharya and Ms. Pradhumita Banerjee. A total of 124 contestants participated globally, making it one of the few initiatives taken of this radius.
The first winner will receive an amount of Rs. 25,000, second winner – Rs. 15,000 and the third winner Rs.10,000. The judges associated with this contest were veteran singer Srikanta Acharya and Sraboni Sen. At a time when the entire music industry is trying to cope with and overcome the impact Covid-19 induced pandemic, this contest shines bright for the Rabindra Sangeet enthusiasts. The best part for the winners are definitely being able to launch their music album with the help of StarmNach which is indeed a dream come true for all three of them.
